Experience all new play styles and game-changing effects with the new Augment system!
Augments provide effects that can boost you, change combat, or even give you a whole new playstyle.
Each category consists of Core and Sub augments. You'll be able to pick a Primary and Secondary category for a total of 5 augments per game.
The Primary category will include 1 Core augment with 2 Sub augments, while the Secondary category will enable 2 Sub augments to be picked from other remaining categories.
Will provide some nasty offensive boosts, strengthening aggression and... strength
Using your weapon skill grants you attack power and attack speed based on your level, but also increases your damage taken.
Grants Omnisyphon when you damage an enemy with a skill.
You can max out at 4 stacks of Vampiric Bloodline. When you're at max stacks, you'll get some bonus Skill Amplification.
If you're on a roll and landing every skillshot, you can really use Vampiric Potential to increase your sustain and take some enemies by surprise if they don't have any healing reduction!
Your 3rd basic attack or skill against the same enemy within a few seconds deals both true damage and reduces their defense based on your level. (This excludes weapon or item skills. Multi-hit effects only grant 1 stack.)
Grants you Armor Penetration based on your current level.
Naturally, both Basic Attacks and Skills are reduced by Defense.
Test subjects with this augment deal extra damage to targets with more Max HP than them. You'll also deal more damage based on the actual HP difference. More max HP, more damage.
You'll deal more damage in safe zones after final restricted areas are activated.
Increases damage dealt to animals and androids and heals for a certain amount of the damage.
Wild Animals & Wickeline sometimes pack too big of a punch for some test subjects to handle.
Augments specializing in assorted ways of offensive expertise.
Choose offense with Core augments Frailty Infliction, Frenzy, and Vampiric Bloodline. Sub augments Stopping Power, Dismantle Goliath, Vengeance, Spirit Culling, and Quench help you reach that damage dealing fantasy.
Aren't just to reduce your damage taken - they can help you deal some hits too.
Using a Weapon Skill makes you Ironclad, reducing your damage taken and granting you Tenacity for its duration.
Reduces Basic Attack damage against you as your HP gets lower.
If your HP is below 50%, the amount of damage reduced is multiplied and reflected to the inflictor as Cellular Damage.
Immobilizing an enemy player increases your Defense based on your current level.
After its expiration, Skill Damage is instantly dealt around you slowing enemies hit.
Take less damage when immobilized.
Upon receiving critical strike damage, take less damage from critical strikes in the next few seconds.
Increases your defense after gaining a shield from a skill or being healed by a skill.
Increases the effectiveness of Damage Reduction stats on your items.
Sometimes the best offense is a good defense!
Beef up with all with Core augments Diamond Shard, Ironclad, and Oblivion Can Wait. Add a touch of defense with sub augments Embolden, Cavalcade, Steadfast, Dulled Blades, Reinforced Armor.
Is more focused on providing supportive effects that aid you or your allies, rather than buffing your raw strength.
Will summon a Healing Drone that follows and heals you and your allies after you use your ultimate.
Increases healing and shields from your skills based on your Skill Amplification.
Targets shielded or healed by you also gain Attack Power for some time and are immune to Healing Reduction effects as well. (This excludes recovery from Food, Drinks, Life Steal, HP Regeneration and Resting.)
Using your ultimate summons an Amplification Drone that follows you around.
The drone increases the Movement Speed and Skill Amplification of you and your allies based on your level.
Causes targets to take increased damage from all sources when immobilized.
The damage buff also works on non-player characters, so Wickeline, Alpha, and Omega will go down easier as well!
Grants Healing Potion(s) based on the number of your alive allies. Potions are dropped on the ground if you have insufficient inventory space, so theres no need to worry about them being lost into the void.
Shields you and your allies based on your level when you use your ultimate. It has a particularly long cooldown!
You'll get some extra Attack Power if an enemy triggers one of your traps, You'll also get Defense if you step on an enemy's trap.
Strengthen your skills - and maybe even teammates!
Core augments Healing Factor, Healing Drone, and Amplification Drone give you extra boosts. You can also grab Sub augments Thorn Shackles, Assembly, Logistics, Theia, and Urban Warfare.
